I am Breathing Easier!

In early January 2009, my husband and I moved out of a single wide mobile home that we had rented for 6 years, and into a small 2 bedroom home (rental). The single wide trailer was manufactured in 1983 and was not kept in good repair by the landlord.

The Problems
There was virtually no insulation in the walls. You know that fake paneling you put up? Those were our walls, and they moved. The roof leaked around windows, bad enough that we had to put containers on the inside sills to catch water. Walls buckled around outlets. And the old "burnt orange" shag rung was so old, I was afraid to try and clean it for fear of it falling apart. And you can SMELL the mustiness of mold and mildew.

Why did we move there and continue to live there under such conditions? To make a long story short, we had to move from our previous place right away because we did not want to deal with a landlord that was in and out of jail all the time. And we didn't have a lot of time to save up the proper monies for a decent home. So, we took what we could get at the time. And then that black cloud of bad luck thickened and stuck like glue to us for the better part of the next 6 years. No matter what we did, we couldn't shake it and save up the money to move from the trailer. Until recently.

During those 6 years, my health steadily declined. My husband noticed the memory loss, the confusion, my bronchial asthma getting worse, the headaches, the fatigue. While we blamed my Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome mostly on those symptoms, we had a suspicion that the mold and mildew were not helping matters any.

Just a short time after moving out of that dump, my asthma occurrence is just about nil. I've only had to use my inhaler twice, for minor reasons. And I have noticed an improvement in other areas of my health, enough to know that being away from the mold and mildew proved that they were affecting my health to some degree while living in that trailer.

Review of the Mold Manuscript

At the very top of the author's site he has, in big bold red and blue lettering, "WARNING! Do Not Touch Mold Until You Read Every Word Of This Letter..." He is so right. Mold is a serious problem that can be potentially life threatening. Schools have been shut down because of it. So, if you suspect that you have a mold problem, then you're going to want to read my review of Mold Manuscript. It may just save your life.

Mold manuscript is a complete, and I do mean COMPLETE course on identifying and eliminating mold from your home or place of resident. I'm going to briefly go over the book in this review.

Chapter 1 essentially shows you how to search for mold, how to prevent spending a ton of money on treatment and how to get rid of your mold once and for all. This chapter alone is worth the price of the book.

Chapter 2 goes into painful detail on how to check for signs that you might have mold or a potential mold problem such as how to find cracks in your home and what to do when you have a moisture problem.

Chapter 3 goes over what causes black mold, which may be the worst kind of all. It also shows you how to inspect areas of your home such as windows and even your air conditioning system.

Chapter 4 goes over the best way to find black mold in your home. He goes over the causes of the problem and what the best solutions are for getting rid of black mold.

The Dangers of Mold

Mold ... it's everywhere. Yes, everywhere. Lucky for most of us, it's not a serious issue in most places. However, your home is a virtual breeding ground for this stuff, such as in your bathroom, and if left untreated, it can turn your life into a living hell hole. I am going to alert you to just some of the dangers of mold and why it must go if you're going to have any chance of living a healthy life.

For starters, mold is one of the most common allergy. Those with asthma are affected the worse: severe shortness of breath, tightening of the throat, and even respiratory distress if not treated immediately. People with asthma when exposed to strong concentrations of mold can literally die from it. I suffer from acute asthma and had just recently moved from a mobile home I had rented for the last 7 years. I know there was mold and mildew in the walls and floors. I used my inhaler more often than I should have. Now that I have been out of that place for a month, my breathing is definitely better and I have only used my inhaler a handful of times.

Here's something that very few people know - Mold also can cause severe memory impairment. The way mold affects the brain is some serious stuff. If you think I'm kidding, go live in a mold infested home for about a year and see if you can remember where you put your car keys ... or that you even have a car in the first place.

As many of you well know, Mold is a common, yet serious problem faced by thousands of home owners and renters alike. Mold comes in all forms and is very adaptable to various climates. However, naturally, the more moist the climate, the better.
