May 23, 2009: High School Tested for Presence of Black Mold

Construction managers for Wilkes-Barre [PA] Area School District are testing the lower level of GAR High School for black mold, according to Superintendent Jeff Namey. Maintenance workers discovered moisture, dust and debris in a space underneath the auditorium stage last week, Namey said. [Read Full Article]


June 3, 2009: Recognizing and preventing moldy houses, part 2

In the May 6 issue of the CCW, I wrote an article on the topic of mold in homes. Apparently, this article struck a nerve with many readers resulting in my hearing from individuals in Southeast Alaska and across the state.
